Twitch Creative

The Creative team had a challenge: Build a great place for artistic broadcasters and viewers to thrive and discover new content within a platform branded exclusively for gamers on a team of 1 designer and 1 engineer.

We embraced the chat culture in the Twitch gaming community by building a feature that allowed people to vote on painters, musicians, and other creatives to watch together. This feature helped new creatives from being buried beneath gaming search and browse results.

We also implemented a tagging system and community pages that allowed artists to establish themselves with their brand on the platform.

Laura also illustrated some emotes for Twitch’s Julia Child marathon.
